BALD FACED HORNET Small Hive Perfect Condition-BEAUTIFUL! FRESH! NICE!

This is a Rare and Perfect Small Bald Faced Hornet Hive. It is in as constructed condition - without flaw. This hive was fashioned carefully on the underside of a storage shed on our NE Wisconsin riverside property.  It was harvested late in 2021 - is very clean and without either natural or harvest caused imperfections.  The hive, measures a wee 4" across the bottom but is fully formed and plump at 13" in circumference.  This size and type hive are not often found.  It has one large and perfectly round shaped entry holes - no damage of any kind. When you peer down into the entry the interior comb structture appears new - and is clearly visible - see photos.  No predator found this nest - and we were able to collect it in perfect  condition.  It is just as originally made by the hornet engineers. This beautiful hive has nothing embedded in it - no leaf, twig or specimen - just clean and simple. It has a very pristine appearance and would make a nice classroom display or size variation item for any collector. The exterior colors are soft and pale--light grey, blue and white. It's small, but very sturdy and well-built - quite perfect!
