SILK TUXEDO VEST- ORIENTAL PATTERN –BLACK – HAND MADE IN TAIWAN – 1960’S – BEILING TAILORS, TAIPEI
Please look at pictures carefully.  This was hand made when we lived in Taiwan inthe early 1960’s. This was made by tailor Beiling, Shang Hai as that was wherethe tailors originated but had a custom shop in downtown Taipei City that myfather frequented for his custom suits. See the label. The buttons are covered in the same matching fabric andare in excellent condition. We also have another silk vest made by Beilinglisted that is reversible.  Thedimensions with garment laid flat are as follows:
Width at top of shoulders –approximately 14.5”
Depth of arm hole outer shoulderseam to bottom of arm hole opening – approx. 10”
Width at chest bottom of arm holeedge to opposite bottom of arm hole – approx. 17.5”
Length of vest from outer shoulderseam to bottom of side seam of vest – approx. 19.5”
Length of vest from top of centerback to points at bottom of vest front – approx. 24.5”
Length from upper center back tolower center back – approx. 20”
There is no excess fabric for seamsto be let out.
